Our love story began in West Chester Ohio on April 1st, 2016. We met with some mutual friends and went for a night out dancing. After an amazing night, Riley's final words were "Here is my number... I don't think you will actually call me back but it's definitely worth a try"! And it worked. Our first date was at the Newport Aquarium. We had Dewey's pizza and Greater's ice cream afterwards! By April 30th, 2016 we were learning so much about each other. With every new thing, we fell more in love. Our shared interest in traveling, learning, and eating brought us to Chicago for a trip, that is where we began dating.
Five years later, after many adventures, open heart surgery, and covid we went to Aspen Colorado to celebrate. We drove our Hyundai up a little dirt road to the top of a mountain. Riley proposed on the top of that beautiful mountain. It was like we were the only two people in the whole world. It was more than both of us could have dreamed of!
